SOS Children’s Village Basse which is 375 km from Bakoteh was established in 2007 and has 12 family houses, which can accommodate 112 children. The village also accommodate a kindergarten and a Lower Basic School. SOS Children’s Village Basse also has Youth Facility with a capacity of 54.
