Angelika Schwaiger, the head of Institutional Partner and Program at the Hermann Gmeiner Fund embarked on a 3days monitoring visit in The Gambia. She was accompanied by the Children’s Villages Representative, the Member Support Advisor, Acting National Director, the National Institutional Partnership Development Coordinator, and the Director of Community Service of the Kanifing Municipal Council – KMC and other stakeholders
During these days , she was able to visit the following projects: The Sustainable Waste Management to Reduce Child Rights Violation at the Bakoteh Dumpsite which is co-funded by the Herman Gmeiner Fund ( HGFD), The Training and Production Center in Bakoteh, and SOS Children’s Villages Basse.
She also had the chance to visit all programs or projects in Bakoteh. which included; SOS Children’s Village and Youth Facility in Bakoteh, the Schools, and Training Centers. She also met project participants too.
Herman Gmeiner Fund is a Promoting and Supporting Association of SOS Children’s Villages in The Gambia.
