WHAT IS THE YOUTHCAN! PROJECT?
YouthCan! is a global network of over 280 partners in 50 countries working together to empower young people without adequate parental care for a successful transition into the world of work.
In 2022 YouthCan! has supported over 13.000 young people with mentoring, training and work practice, made possible through the contribution of corporate volunteers.
YouthCan! is a global partnership between SOS Children’s Villages and the private sector which empowers young people who have lost parental care or are at risk of losing it by helping them transition to independence and decent work.
This year SOS Children’s Villages in The Gambia will kick start the project implementation in The Gambia. The official launching of the project is slated for September 2023.
