In 2019, SOS Children’s Villages in The Gambia through SOS Children’s Villages in Finland started the implementation of a four years project called Social and Economic Resilience of Vulnerable Youths Project – SERVY designed to empower vulnerable youth in Lower River Region, & Central River Regions of The Gambia.
The Project targets 600 vulnerable youth between the ages of 15 to 35 years with an annual target of 150 youth in the Upper and Central River Regions of The Gambia
The project’s goal is to improve the socioeconomic wellbeing of vulnerable youth in the Gambia. The project intents to contribute to the increased proportion of vulnerable youth who are economically and socially resilient, independent and integrated members of their communities.
