Earlier on Tuesday morning the 2nd of May 2023, we were pleased to have received the Deputy British High Commissioner and Delegation to the SOS Children’s Villages Program.
The visit aimed to familiarize themselves with the work of SOS Children’s Villages in The Gambia. and possible partnership with the Embassy. The United Kingdom has been a key donor of SOS Children’s Villages Work in The Gambia.
They are currently supporting our program in Basse (SOS Children’s Villages Basse and the Youth Training and Employability Project funded by the PD Foundation in the UK.
The team was led by the National Director and key management staff. The delegation was taken through a brief presentation on SOS Children’s Villages Work in The Gambia by the National Director Jean – Pierre Kouamin and also a tour of our programs and service.
